Dixon Ticonderoga Woodcase Pencil, #2 HB, Yellow, 12-Count

I am a member of Woodmen of the World Chapter #296. For our first quarter common bond project we choice school supplies for my grandsons 3rd grade class. I contacted the teachers and they gave me the list of Ticonderoga pencils, crayola crayons and his teacher needed a pencil sharper. We were pleased with their choice since these are the pencils that are always on the school list at be beginning of the yr. they last longer and stay sharpened longer than most.

They said that the regular wood pencils they were used too would break or the the lead would fall out after sharpening. Well I was tired of having to buy the lead for the mechanical pencils so I decided to try these. Great right out of the box! Love that they all come pre-sharpened. Makes things so much easier. My kids and and all took a pencil. I used it all day at work, and they used it all day at school. All of us had no issues sharpening or writing with them. Truly very well made pencils.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter had to have this brand of pencils when she was in kindergarten and I liked them at the time and i love them more now. She's in the 4th grade now and i gave her these pencils to try and she loved them too. These were very sturdy and they sharpened the way they are supposed to and that was a good thing!! I'm tired of other brands of pencils sharpening correctly on one side only, and these didn't do that so I'll stick with this brand.

When you do need to sharpen them, they are east to sharpen and the tip does not break. They write smooth and consistent in color. The eraser erasers cleanly with no smudging. Will purchase this pencil again.

I had heard of them, but hadn't bought them because they do cost more. These are great! Very high quality pencil, made of cedar wood so they smell amazing. Easy to sharpen, they don't constantly break while trying to get a point. The eraser on these is also a much better quality than cheaper pencils. It doesn't smudge the paper. Definitely worth the additional cost, the quality is SO much better.

They write smoothly and the eraser doesn't leave eraser mark. They are Great for work or school. And they are number 2 pencils so they can be used on your standardized testing.
