Works great to get a 250lb man upstairs to shower. Would not recommend for use with only one helper as two helpers seems to make it a much more stable experience. The tank treads work really well to climb the stairs without slippage, but will take off edge-of-stair tread strips if the strips are not firmly secured. Seat has removable pad for easy cleanup. Battery has been holding up well thus far for the once a week trips. Only complaint would be that the space needed at the landings is pretty tight if the staircase ends close to a perpendicular wall where one would need to go either immediately right or left upon reaching the landing. A relatively inexpensive and portable alternative to a fixed, wall-mounted stair chair on a rail.
no assembly required. Not only can I use it to climb a flight of stairs, but I am easy to load and unload this chair into my minivan with no assistance
Great solution for moving invalid people up and down stairs! Sturdy construction and fair price.
Works great, heaven sent!
This is the absolute best product on the market!! I purchased it 5 months ago to assist in getting my elderly mother down the 16 steps in our home! It is a life changer! I can do it by myself with no help!! I have gotten so many praises for having this by paramedics, transportation assistants, nurses and therapist. I've even had nurses and therapist video me using it so they can show their patients and encourage them to purchase it! It does not shake as I read in another comment! If it's shaking you are not using it correctly!! You have to pull the handle all the way up and lean back, push the button and let it do the work for you! I've even had a 205 lb person in it and it work just as well!!! Most paramedics and EMT's have only seen the manual ones and are so impressed and Thank me so much for making their job easier!!! It's a must buy!! There should be no negative reviews!! Any reviews that are negative is because they are using it incorrectly!!! Do yourself and your loved one justice and purchase this!! You won't be disappointed!!!
The chair works great. We are now able to visit friends and stay when they have accommodations upstairs (or downstairs). It didn't seem to make any marks on the staircase. It is important to always press down when using the device, especially when going down the steps. I ordered this for a trip we took and it arrived very quickly, just in time for us to make the trip. It made our visit so much better!
I bought this stair chair lift for my grandma who was bed-ridden upstairs, we wanted find a way to move her downstairs. But she passed within days, so it is no longer needed for us, and the seller was kind enough to provide a full refund including shipping costs.
This electric trolley really allows you to lift a person up the stairs. Of the minuses, I would name the increased weight, the increased price, and the lack of ergonomics. It could have been made monochrome and more serious. This is not a toy and we are not in a circus!
Very hard to pick person up once you get them up and down steps
BE WARNED IF ITEM GETS SENT TO WRONG HOUSE THERES NOTHING YOU CAN DO!!! bought but never recieved it, fedex even posted a pic of it being sent to the wrong house, that house wasnt even in our neighborhood. i tried contacting walmart too they even agreed it wasnt my house but they still didnt guve a refund, very unprofessional would never recommend.
