DJI Mini Ultralight and Foldable Drone Quadcopter - Powerful Performance

This is a great product for a good price! The gps with auto return is a nice feature! I had only flown the toy helicopter type toys before this.... But this is much easier!! A lot of fun and incredible range!!! I got a box from harbor freight to keep it in. Love this thing!!

I have been extremely pleased with this little drone. I used to fly a phantom 3 advanced. This little guy is so much more quiet and easy to deal with, the phantom was a huge beast. The video quality is fantastic. The extra battery was a great deal too, a real Sam's money saver.

After using the first one for only 1 day the controller stopped working. Guess this is common after we read the reviews that we didn't read before ordering. We brought it back to Sam's Club. They didn't have another one at the store so we got the refund and ordered another one. It's worth being patient and buying. This one works and we love it. It's compact but powerful. Goes 6 miles. Downloaded the app easily. Clear videos and pictures. I recommend getting the memory card specifically for the DJI mini drone 2.

After receiving the mini 2 and downloading the app for it I spent a little time watching a few YouTube tutorials on how to use it. I'm really impressed with all the modern technology that's gone into this little package. After becoming somewhat familiar with the controls I was ready for a test run. To my surprise it was amazingly easy to navigate and take high resolution pictures and videos. I've had mine for a week or so now and haven't even come close to crashing it yet so I'm really happy with it. I'd like more air time from the batteries but for what it is and what it costs I'm really impressed with it.

I'm 76 year old and DJI is joy to use

The Mini 2 arrived well packaged and everything worked perfectly. I has a Phantom 2 and the Mini is much more user friendly and loaded with useful features. I'm very happy with it.

I'm just leaving a review because I noticed somebody left a review saying it only works with apple iPhone. This is totally FALSE. It works great with android phones, tablets etc. I am on my 3rd mini and all have worked wonderfully. Just watch out for power line wires when flying at full speed...especially over bodies of water lol. They will destroy a drone in a heartbeat.

I love this drone it is so small that you can take with you anywhere

This is my first real drone and so far I am happy with it. It is well built and even though I have not had a lot of flight time I feel I am going to like this drone. It has a very good camera that gives awesome video and stills from above. The built in shots make you look like a professional pilot. If your budget won't allow for a larger drone with a better camera, this is a great starter drone. Plus, at less than 249 grams, you don't need a license to fly it. The only caveat that I see is the lack of obstacle avoidance. The only sensors it has are the ground sensors that it uses to land. Even though it would be hard to crash this drone into the ground, trees and other obstacles are a different thing. I recommend only flying it away from trees, poles and power lines. If you do fly near such objects you will want the DJI refresh insurance to repair or replace the drone in the event of a crash.
