DLEX5500W 7.4 cu.ft. Ultra Large Capacity Electric Dryer with Sensor Dry TurboSteam Technology and Wi-Fi Connectivity

I just finished my first load of t-shirts wih this machine and I can't express how much worth every penny it is worth. I mostly wear band tees from concerts I go to and have always lined dried them. I was worried about drying them in the dryer for the first time, however, the delicate cycle knocked it out in 34 min and felt great coming out! I split my shirt load into 2 loads, however, I'm certain I could have done it in 1 load.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dryer along with an LG washer approximately 1 1/2 months ago and have been so very pleased with its performance. When in doubt on which cycle to use, the AI cycle has never failed me in safely dryer my clothes. The dryer is so quiet that it doesn't disturb my activities at home. I'd wholeheartedly recommend this dryer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a brand new, front load washer and dryer, they are so efficient that we are delighted with then. They make a musical sound when each load it finished. We live in a community that allows a set amount of water use and it the homeowner goes over the set amount they, must pay a fine. We have used the units nearly daily and we were not over the base water usage this quarter.

Most things about this dryer are fine. I like the different cycles, including the steam ones, which I use for dewrinkling. But it's a continual frustration to deal with the lint filter. It's badly designed, and causes lint buildup at its bottom. Then the link filter won't seat properly, and lint builds up even worse until the dryer won't function. This can be temporarily dealt with by carefully removing the lint build up at the bottom of the lint filter, using a flashlight and narrow vacuum cleaner extension. That's a tedious job, though, and even with every speck of lint removed, the filter still won't seat properly. My previous dryer went 12 years with no lint problem. I'm quite disappointed that this one got clogged up after a year or so.

Door doesn't fit well. Dryer doesn't dry completely without using Tim4ed Dry. LG company doesn't care.

The LG electric dryer with sensor dry...the dryer for you if you enjoy loud, expensive appliances that don't actually do what they are supposed to do. If your idea of a relaxing evening involves returning to your laundry room to find the shirt you want to wear is still damp or that your clothes have taken on that refreshing mildew smell because your energy efficient LG dryer doesn't actually dry things. Evidently energy star rating to LG means your dryer will stop when it wants to to save you a buck on your energy bill but take a month off your life from your raised blood pressure. This has been my experience with this dryer. Don't buy.

Doesn't really work well and LG doesn't seem to care. They just say everything is OK because no alerts are lit up.

Well the 3rd time was a charm with this dryer. Originally received a white one which had damage to the front. Then another one was installed which ended up starting on fire in the back ruining items in my home and stinking up my house. With these being a gift they didn't cost me anything to get them, but the issues I've had have led me to not recommend them at all. The washer was a similar hassle but luckily it didn't start on fire like this one.

LG IS THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER HAD THE MISFORTUNE OF DEALING WITH. MY RECOMMENDATION IS TO AVOID AT ANY COST.
