Wooden Cane
This is exactly what I wanted. A solid 1" thick Hickory cane that can be used to help walk and for self defense if needed. A cane that can be a club. I don't think you will be able to break it!

Very Impressed other than UPC code stuck to wood.
This is a nice old fashioned cane with no bells and whistles. I ordered through this Walmart website and it was ready for pickup four days ahead of scheduled pickup. I'm giving it a max rating but not pleased with the sticky UPC code being affixed to a finished wood product. It makes me want to visit the wooden cane manufacturers CEO's house and place stickers all over their furniture and other wood furnishings. This is a nice high quality cane and I'm overall very pleased with this purchase at a very nice price.

false labeling
the cane is displayed on the web site and labeled by sticker as a ONE INCH cane. it is much less than one inch and bows with weight applied to it.
