DMI - Digital Stainless Steel Kitchen Scale 5.7 x 7.3 in, Gray

I recently bought a pound of 80/20 ground beef and a pound of hot ground sausage from Walmart. I started with the ground beef and got exactly four 3.90 oz patties. I like to freeze by the 1/4 pound. I did it 3 times and got the same result. As for the sausage, I got exactly four 4.0 oz patties. I'm going to conclude that nothing is wrong with the kitchen scale, and I was shorted 0.40 gound beef, which disappoints the heck out of me. It's not much, I know, but how much would it amount to if 50 pounds were shorted? The kitchen scale was accurate. That's the good news. It's quite small (6" by 7" or so), but that's really all I need as I only use it the most to freeze 1/4 pounders of meet and weigh my pasta. It has a tare function though if I want to weigh more. The digital lighting is great, and all in all, it's simple to use. And, that's fine by me and my needs. It's stainless in the weighing part of it, so it will be easy to clean. I'm going to enjoy using it. I've been without one for over a year, and I have missed having one a lot.

It came with batteries wrapped in plastic which was an exciting extra plus for this scale. We used it when we opened it to make margaritas and they turned out awesome. The scale itself is simple, works well and, based on what I could do to test it, it was accurate. I gave the display 4 stars. It reads perfectly fine, but it's not a high quality display.

This is a very nice upgrade my old scale. The screen is bright. Easy to read. Easy to use. Kids love it. It's nice and thin for easy storage. Units include a “milk” which I've never seen before but is helpful. I use it every day for baking

this is perfect for a kitchen scale, the digital features are great for baking and being able to subtract the weight of the container, its also small enough to fit in a drawer for ease of use

Definitely a handy product its big enough to handle business in the kitchen buy small enough to easily store away. ive used it a few times since i like meal prepping and purchasing meat in bulk to split up in freezer bags. so itd be great for both of those options.

This is a very small scale, so I don't see weighing packages on it necessarily. I do like that you can weigh an empty bowl and have it zeroed out to then get only the weight of what you put in the bowl so you don't have to do subtraction in your head. That's a very nice feature and simple to do. Or just get a weight for whatever you put on the scale. All very simple to use. The batteries are installed but have wrapping around them so you have to remove them and unwrap them and then put them back in. I wouldn't compare this to professional quality in any way but it does work for simple kitchen measuring which is what I need at this point.
