DNA Motoring For 97-06 Jeep Wrangler TJ 7" Textured Black Pocket-Riveted Wheel Fender Flares

These fender flares will and do fit a 1999 Jeep Wrangler Sport, but some of the specs are a little off. For one, the side marker opening is not the correct size. I had to use my Dremel tool to "reshape" the openings, so the side markers can sit in the slot properly. Second, the fender flares are made way thinner than the original fender flares that came with the Jeep. I understand these are NOT factory replacements, however, the plastic is so thin that the fenders actual warped out of shape while sitting on my driveway on a hot summer day... it was only 91 degrees!! I suspect these will not last too long and wonder how much vibration I will receive from the fender flares at highway speeds. All in all, the fender flares do what they are supposed to do, help control dirt and rocks from not flying onto nearby vehicles or objects, and hold the side markers in place (after modifications). If you need quick and inexpensive replacement fender flares for safety and being able to lawfully drive your Jeep on the road, then these are for you. I am pretty happy with the product as far as performing at the bare minimum, the price is great and they arrived to my home faster than was stated on my shipping information.
