Great item, quick and accurate!

We ordered this DNA Kit for our 5-year old "Mutt". The results were FANTASTIC to say the least! The Company was AWESOME to deal with, as we contacted them directly to have them upload a picture of our dog. Very FAST testing, and a very professional Company. I highly recommend them, A true 5 Star.

I bought this product about 1 month ago....it was quite fast....only a few days to receive the test...then I sent it out a few days later....about 3 days later the lab received it.....and within a week I had my results. The owner (Liz) is very personable and provides a fantastic service that was beyond my expectations... give it a chance ... we were very happy with the results.

We just got our results back and had so much fun on Facebook with guess of his mix. We have always called him to tall pug because he is just about 2 to 3 inches taller than our other pugs. But come to find out even though he looks like a pug he has border collie and poodle in him. Amazing service and fun experience I highly recommend this kit yes you really wanna know what your dog is mixed with so your vet can better diagnose potential issues your dog may be having.

Registered my kit on their app and was able to follow the progress. Had results in just over a week. Highly recommend. My dog results were cocker spaniel and poodle. Only negative is they couldn't tell me if he was an American cocker spaniel or an English cocker spaniel. And if he was bred with a standard poodle or larger poodle. Still satisfied with the results and reasonable priced!

we were very happy with the ease of the test itself and the results came right on time. affordable and accurate (and still a surprise!). we decided after the fact that we wanted a hybrid wolf/coyote test as well, and they went ahead and used her already submitted sample to do that test as well for a very small additional fee. just waiting on those results now. looking forward to seeing our sweet girl in the app gallery! thanks, DNA My Dog!

Save your money for the following reasons: The questions they ask of you during the registration portion really had me feeling uneasy about my decision. Any optional question, I did not answer. It wanted to know many things, but among those questions was to list what dog breeds you thought your dog was. Why??? It required weight...why would this be necessary??? I did not upload a photo either. Next, I swabbed. It's more like a rough reusable straw cleaning brush and not a large Q-tip. You have to "swab" their cheek for TWENTY SECONDS. What dog is going to let you do this??? I did not need to "swab" this long, because I knew there was a good sample before switching sides as it caused his tissue to bleed. It's way to rough to be used for this purpose! Teddy is (now) a 25 lb, 2yr old baby. He is short, long body, short fur with tan plus a black saddle and a little white on his chest. He's a very sweet boy that rarely barks. When I say "rare" I mean he might bark a single "woof" the whole week. He's very laid back, but is game for outside play, walks, etc. He is SUPER submissive. He's the best little rescue dog I've ever had. All that to say, he's a good 10 lbs heavier than the breeds listed. He's also not high energy. He's not a barker at all like the smaller breeds can be. And don't even get me started on the fur differences!!! I can see the coat coloring being similar to the Yorkie, but so do beagles, and they have the boxy nose, too. Where did those ears come from??? They are curled or rosette in style like a greyhound...more likely the Italian grey for size. His long body and short legs, maybe the Lhasa Apso, but most people think he's a dachshund mix. Second guess is a Pit Bull Terrier. Needless to say, this was a 100% waste of money and time. I was not only curious about his breed, but wanted to research common health issues for him, too. My very best advice: Move on! Nothing accurate to see here!
