Dobrev 2-drawer Writing Desk Glossy Black and Clear

Do you know how difficult it is to find a black lacquer desk? After months of searching both furniture stores and websites, I tried Wal-Mart.com just for grins. Frankly, this was the last place I ever thought I'd find just what I was looking for, but Wal-Mart had it. The desk needs to be assembled, but 2 people can do it quite easily (will take less than 2 hours). What really impressed me was how perfectly everything lined up during assembly. So if you don't mind the challenge of putting something together, you will be thrilled with the finished product. And you certainly can't beat the price! I would most definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a beautiful, contemporary piece of furniture--which in my case will be used as a computer desk.

It looks Amazing! I decided to add a little spice to my Boutique and so very Happy I did. Not bad for the price. Just a little cosmetic malfunction(a small portion on 1 of the black boards was chipped), and the instructions was of No use. Simply because the instructions is for another product. I searched YouTube to guide me, and surprisingly, there were no good assistance there as well. My advice is to take a pic if you decide to purchase and pay close attention to the pic. The very 1st row you must use the longer tempered glass and longer board, which should be labeled C. The 2nd row you must use the shorter tempered glass and the shorter board, which should be labeled D. The 3rd row you must repeat using the longer glass and board. Also, the 4th row has to be repeated as well using the shorter glass and board. When you are connecting the side boards, please notice the 4 small holes. Place the little wood tool pieces inside the 2 inner holes. Make sure you squeeze a little glue before inserting the wooden pieces into the holes. You will also need to insert the silver screws on each row into the other holes. So, you will need your screw driver for this. It helps to maintain the sturdiness. Also, the tempered glass helps to balance. It comes with a small tube of glue, wooden pieces, silver screws, and 2 little black straps. Im not sure what those straps are to be use for. I will ask my son or Dad, they would probably know what it is used for. They are pretty Awesome with knowing things like this. It took me almost 2 to 3 hours to complete this project. Of course, this included searching to make sure there were other instructions, browsing YouTube, the manufacturers website, and then finally taking a picture of the product for guidance. If it would have came with instructions, the timeframe for completion would be under 1 hour. I think I should get paid for the directions Im giving. Lol. I took 2 photos so you can get a view of the product from a distance and close up to see where to place the tempered glass on each row. The tempered glass is heavy, so be very careful. Overall, it is a stylish product that will complement any room.

Wonderful desk. I love it. It's a little difficult to assemble, took around 3-4 hours. But it's really nice, glossy, and sturdy.

This desk is a beautiful piece of contemporary furniture and a striking addition to my guest room/office space. The drawers are small though adequate because all I need is space for the basics. I put it together myself. I am a 74 year-old woman who is pretty handy but certainly no expert, so I proceeded slowly and carefully. It took me 4 hours or so to complete. The hard part was attaching the glass legs. They are heavy and cumbersome. Once I figured out how to attach the first one, the second went much faster. However, this is a job, so be prepared to spend some time working at it--you won't be disappointed. The finished product is worth the effort. BTW I bought the black. It's shiny and sleek.

The table is in my study and the finish and style is very neat and contemporary. I'm soooo glad that I bought this table. Very happy with my purchase. Assembly is not that hard, my son made it himself but needed help to get it upright coz it is heavy.

4.5 out of 5 Beautiful, modern, and unique desk. (Gray Version) Fairly easy and straight forward to put together, but does require some time. Because of the drawers a long the bottom of the desk, the leg room is on the short side for someone like myself. I'm 6'1"" and the arm rest of the chair do not fit under the desk. Might be better with a chair without arm rests. I am thinking about adding some kind of riser along the bottom sides to raise the desk a few inches. The top of the desk is not fully smooth because of the wood grooves so if you are actually writing on it with a single sheet of paper best to have some kind of pad underneath it.

Was kind of disappointed. Drawers have some wiggle room, don't line up flush. Box it came in was damaged and 3 of 4 corners were were chipped quite a bit

Got two pieces exactly the same, yet, one was for the right side and one for the left side. So I had to send the whole thing back since they wouldn't send me just the piece I needed.
