Doc Martin: Series 5

AWESOME......BUT OF COURSE I WON'T BUY IT AGAIN

In some of the episodes, Martin starts off calling the person by their correct name but later in that same episode, he calls them a different name. Some examples: the episode about the school janitor, he uses at least two or three different last names for him and in the episode with Morweena's grandfather, the doctor calls him by another last name than what was originally stated and finally in the episode with the woman who becomes ill from the wall paper plaster, the doc calls her by a different last name than what was originally stated. I enjoy watching Doc Martin but did not find these types of name glitches in the previous volumes

Because of being a caretaker for my husband 24/7 from 2002 to his death in 2009, I had no time or energy for TV. In February a friend loaned me Series 3 and 4, and I was hooked. I so enjoy Doc Martin and Louisa, but all the actors seem so real, as does the dialog. Now with the entire series in my possession, I can spend many evening hours happily. I'm looking forward to Series 6 late in 2013!

Because we have received all 5 series and are viewing them in order we have not yet got to series 5. However let me say we are absolute fans of the show and will enjoy watching all of the series and any future ones over and over. Love the scenery and enjoy the characters so much. Your delivery service is excellent. Thank you.

A friend of ours told us about Doc Martin on Channel 23 NJ. We watched it and look forward to the show every week. (this week we very much enjoyed the beautiful castle and scenery around which the show is filmed.) We ordered Doc Martin, Series 5 and we are very, very satisfied with the DVD.

I love Doc Martin and Series 5, episode seems to have carried the tone established in previous series. Doc is a bit too grumpy and yells a lot, but he is conflicted about leaving Louisa and `Baby,` to go to London. He, of course, pushes all emotion deep inside (except impatience) and can't express sorrow at the loss of Aunt Joan (71 isn't a bad age) and joy at having a `mini me` baby. Love Martin Clunes. `I could eat him with a spoon.`

I have watched the movies, where he actually smiles but I find the television series and Martin Clunes much more entertaining. The cast is exceptional and there is a definite chemistry between them all. I have rewatched the previous seasons because there is so much you miss the first time round. I have really enjoyed Doc Martin and hope they do decide to create another season. Next time I'm in GB I might even visit Port Wenn/Port Isaac!

I spent this weekend catching up on most of the five seasons' episodes. I first started watching Doc Martin on local PBS stations and found I could not get enough of this wonderful character and the series. I purchased the first and fourth season so far and absolutely love the cast of characters! The ACTING, especially Martin Clunes, is EXCELLENT! I cannot wait for all the seasons to come (I hope there are many, many more!)

The Doc Martin series 5 does not play. I would like a refund. Thank you.
