Doc Martin: Series 5

AWESOME......BUT OF COURSE I WON'T BUY IT AGAIN

A friend of ours told us about Doc Martin on Channel 23 NJ. We watched it and look forward to the show every week. (this week we very much enjoyed the beautiful castle and scenery around which the show is filmed.) We ordered Doc Martin, Series 5 and we are very, very satisfied with the DVD.

Thanks to your great customer service for assisting me and getting these. A friend had lent me her set to see if it was something I would enjoy...and hers would not play in my DVD player. Your staff sent me exactly what I wanted and I have totally enjoyed my experience with Acorn I have there are more in the future

My husband and I started following the series on the local PBS station in Chicago and got hooked. We eventually purchased Series 1 through 4, and then were devastated that there weren't any more current `Doc Martins` on TV. When I saw that Series 5 was available--I bought it right away. It lived up to the standard of the last 4.

I love Doc Martin and Series 5, episode seems to have carried the tone established in previous series. Doc is a bit too grumpy and yells a lot, but he is conflicted about leaving Louisa and `Baby,` to go to London. He, of course, pushes all emotion deep inside (except impatience) and can't express sorrow at the loss of Aunt Joan (71 isn't a bad age) and joy at having a `mini me` baby. Love Martin Clunes. `I could eat him with a spoon.`

This is the best BBC show I have ever seen, and we cannot stop watching it in our house. We are most anxious to see Series 6! My daughter first mentioned the show to us back in March, and at that time, we always watched Last of the Summer Wine and several other shows on our PBS station here. She got me hooked totally on Doc Martin, and I just found out my mother-in-law is equally as crazy about him and the entire show. We look so forward to watching it every week, and pray there really IS a Series 6. Thank you so much for bringing us this fantastic series!

I loved the items shipped, including Doc Martin, series 6, wonderfully acted and the location of this pre-eminent British series, filmed in picturesque Port Isaac, Cornwall was wonderful. However, I forgot that almost 12 would be charged for bringing the items across the border from the USA to Canada. We were charged the cash amount to cover this. Thanks. A Canadian Customer.

I have watched the movies, where he actually smiles but I find the television series and Martin Clunes much more entertaining. The cast is exceptional and there is a definite chemistry between them all. I have rewatched the previous seasons because there is so much you miss the first time round. I have really enjoyed Doc Martin and hope they do decide to create another season. Next time I'm in GB I might even visit Port Wenn/Port Isaac!

The Doc Martin series 5 does not play. I would like a refund. Thank you.
