Doc Martin: Series 7 (Blu-ray), Acorn, Comedy

I got hooked on this British series and had to get the first 6 "seasons" and wanted to just sit down and watch as many as I could. The humor is typically British but translates well. I have learned a lot of new British slang terms. Martin Clunes is amazingly wonderful in his portrayal of a non-humorless doctor in a small Cornish town. The personal interactions with townspeople and a love interest named Louisa makes you want to go and give him advice in person--a feat that producers of this series do well to bring you into the show.. British television is produced differently than in the U.S. and the series doesn't have but 54 episodes over 7 season but they are well worth the watch and wait for new ones. And as an added bonus the beautiful scenery of the Port Wen(Port Isaac in reality) is like a vacation in your living room or wherever you watch the series. The landscapes, sea views and images of the town architecture and layout is incredible. You must watch.

If you are a Doc Martin fan you need the to see the series from the beginning to truly appreciate how far (and not so far) the show has progressed. Morwena and Ruth are great additions to the cast in recent series. My wife has a love hate affair with Louisa (she thinks Louisa is to hard on the Doc, but that may be my wife's crush on him. For someone who HATES British humor, I love this show.

I am a big fan of the doc martin series and would have bought a second set of season 7 for my son if it were on dvd. He doesn't have BluRay. I previously bought two sets of the seasons 1-6 DVD package.

From the day I first watched this series, I was hooked. The cast of characters is wonderfully unique and the ?ǣplot line?ǥ always interesting, making this program my favorite. So, now that I have the complete series and can revisit my ?ǣfriends?ǥ anytime I want.

Our family enjoys this series so much we have purchased all of them. There has never been a time we are not laughing so hard, it cheers us all up during this pandemic.

The funniest Brit com since Keeping Up Appearances. Substitute Eddie Albert Albert for Martin Clunes and you have Green Acres. One of the best comedies ever.

Very funny and interesting look into the lives of of the whole cast at Port Senn. Keeps you totally involved with the characters and Doc Martins life as a doctor in a bit whacky town. Good fit with a bit whacky doctor.

Having enjoyed watching this series on PBS, I purchased this as a birthday gift for a friend. She should love it!

I have watched every season so far and couldn't wait to pop my DVD of season 7 into the VCR. It has been great .
