These Crab Canes are the best I've had in years. My Daughter found hem first and brought me a package to try, because she loves them so much !!!! After one bite, I could understand why she does. Now I love them too, and sometimes have part of them for dinner and the other part for breakfast the next morning, with grits and toast !!! If you love Crab Cakes you have to try Dockside's, and even if you don't think you do, I think these would change your mind !!!
I was surprised at the quality of these crab cakes. They were delicious. which was surprisingly because of the inexpensive price. They have become one of the best item on my grocery list.
We made several packs of these the other night %26 added vegetables on the side for dinner. We also bought remoulade sauce to go with them. They are small in diameter, but thick. Very good. I will buy them again.
These crab cakes were a pleasant surprise! They were easy to prepare, had great flavor, and made a tasty meal. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and gone faster than I expected. I'd definitely buy them again.
I served mine as a meal rather than an appetizer, with a side of sweet potato fries. The texture was mushy even though I followed the exact cooking time. The sauce was the only thing that tasted good, which is how I was even able to eat the crab cakes. The crab cakes on their own tasted like dirt. I won't be purchasing this item again. Don't waste your money.
These are way too moist and fishy smelling and tasting. They smell like fish and crab that have been sitting in the sun for 12 hours. You can bake or fry them to a crispy exterior, but the inside is super moist and goopy. The flavor and smell is fish-crab-dank-stink. I bought these looking for a typical crab cake flavor and texture. It's so far off the mark that you might as well do literally anything else. Really bad. Strait into the trash after a taste test. The odor is an 11 out of 10. It makes no sense, and I've made crab cakes from scratch with fresh crab for the past 30 years without landing a product this gross.
minimal to no crab flavor. All I could taste was filler. Cooked as instructed however still soft and mushy. Even cooked longer than suggested. I wanted to try them and now I know not to buy them again. isn't there other brands similar to this product?
It's interesting that Crab is the listed as the first ingredient, it's mostly filler, very little crab. Due to that, it's a very weird texture. Flavor is ok. Lastly, not sure who puts a crab cake in cocktail sauce but if you add mayo and a bit of paprika to the cocktail sauce, you have a perfect crab cake dipping sauce.
I have eaten crab cakes many times and these don't even resemble crab cakes. The smell was awful and the taste was worse. I could not distinguish any crab or fish in them at all. The seasoning was awful too. There was more breadcrumbs than anything else. Way too much money for inedible crab cakes.
Highly disappointed in these. They fall apart after cooking. Complete mush…..no crab flavor whatsoever. The taste was like ground up paper towel tubes that had something similar to old bay's seasoning plus several tablespoons of salt added to it. The texture might as well been stage one baby food.
