Season one of the revived Doctor Who is a must have. Not as good as season 2 or 3, but needed to understand anything from 2,3, or upcoming 4. David Eccleston is a tid bit odd, but a "transition" into David Tennant fits just right. 42

Fantastic
This is an excellent series. If you have never seen the original Doctor Who series, it's not hard to understand what is happening in this one. It blew my mind!

Great Series!
It may not have a huge budget and all the special effects of the subsequent series, but the acting, writing and music is definately there. This is also a must-watch to really understand the series to come. Overall, a great series and I would recommend it to anyone!

excellent show great update
The Doctor has been much improved from the old series, although I find Christopher Eccelston's Doctor to be rather harsher and more misanthropic than the old Doctors. The graphics and Special effects are also much better, although this TomBaker fan cheerfully acknowledges that it isn't saying much compared to the old show. The effects are Hollywood now. The acting is much better too.

Great dvd box set
I am a huge fan of the BBC Series Doctor Who and when I saw that Walmart had this box set I bought it on the spot. I am very happy about this purchase.
