very easy to set up very easy to learn. my soon-to-be 96-year-old dad learned it in one day was having a great deal of trouble with using the cell phone this made his life much more easier.
This phone is perfect for someone who has a difficult time seeing. I purchased this phone for someone recovering from a stroke and it has given him the ability to call important people easily.
The machine worked perfectly. The only disadvantage was having to delete all the people-photos before using it.
It's nice to have pictures to press but it's a two step process which is confusing to my mother. She can't just press the person she wants to call, she has to first press a tiny memory button at bottom. And there's no voicemail.
The memory dialing requires two-steps. Press a button followed by the face. This is proving difficult for my mom with dementia to remember. Sometimes she does, other times she is frustrated and sad that she can't call me. There should be switch on the side of the phone that allows for simply pressing the picture. Also, the buttons stick a little due to their size. I almost returned the phone because I couldn't get it programmed at first due to missing digits or entering double digits because of the sticking issue. TIP: Press smack in the middle and evenly to avoid the issue. Overall, it is serving its purpose when mom remembers to press the memory button (which I colored with a sharpie to help it stand out).
Too difficult to program even for me. Too many push this first and this and then again. I understand that is probably the only way to get it to program with out the elderly un programming it though.
Instructions were inadequate. It kept giving a busy signal when you picked up the receiver. Somehow my daughter determined how to correct it.
I've followed the directions to 'store' numbers but I cannot get the phone to accept the numbers. I have literally tried 6 times, slowly, methodically with the only result being a 'fast busy' signal.
You need to push memory then the picture. I thought you could just push the picture, I bought this for my mom who has Alzheimer's so she could push our face on the buttons and be able to call us.
Never worked and returned it
