I bought this because it was cheaper than most others. Well, you get what you pay for. It looks nice and is basically well-made. It's easy to install and the straps are adjustable. Nice that it has little pockets for stuff. And I bought it specifically for the zipper in case I have to carry one passenger in the back seat. But it does not cover the sides (back doors), and a large dog can still put its front paws on the top of the back seat. And it tore the first time I used it. I had an 85 lb. dog (husky) in there, and after our outing, I noticed fuzzy material coming out of the cover where the seat meets the back. The tear is about 3” long. It wasn't extremely surprising since the material is very thin. I would suggest that it is only appropriate for a dog less than 25-30 lbs., which would be less likely to tear the cover from its weight, and also the coverage is less likely to be a problem since they will be smaller. Either that or put a big piece of plywood or other rigid material on the seat first so that the cover isn't affected by the dog's weight. When this cover is totally ruined, I will spring for one that costs more and is of higher quality and more durable.
