I bought these shoes online with a little apprehension. My grandson started walking and it was time to buy his first pair of shoes however it's not easy to find good, quality baby shoes in the shoe stores these days. We followed sizing instructions and placed our order. In a few days they arrived. The fit was perfect and our little guy wears them willingly with no complaints. I'm already looking for his next pair of shoes.
Our granddaughter is 15 months old. Two months ago, her mother purchased her an "athletic" type of shoe in pink and white with Velcro straps. Since we care for our granddaughter three days a week, it didn't take me long to realize that she was constantly falling all over her own feet due to these bulky shoes. On two occasions, she fell into an insection where two walls met and incurred bruises on her head. At that point, I had had enough of these athletic shoes, which did not belong on her feet, so brought up my laptop and ordered these Stride Rite shoes - the same ones my daughter wore 36 years earlier. My granddaughter is walking SO much better now; her shoes/feet don't get in her way; and, she can run to her heart's content without worry of tripping, falling or injuring herself. With little ones, it's all about safety, not looks.
Our sons feet were so wide that we literally couldn’t find him shoes anywhere! I had even started carrying a pair of socks in my purse to try shoes on him no matter where we were. We got the XWide...they fit and he absolutely loves wearing his shoes but NXT time we’re getting XXwide! Cause his foot is chubby!
I was excited to know that I could still get Stride Rite baby walking shoes. No more walk in stores, made me nervous. I Googled Stride Rite baby walking shoes and Bam, was able to pick from large collection. I also experienced the inability to order what I wanted online, so I called contact number and was assisted right away. Still same quality today as was when I bought shoes for my now 28 year old daughter. And now buying shoes for her Son.
Being a lover of good old white baby shoes, Stride Rite is my "go to" for quality and fit. These are the second pair for my grandson and we love them! They come in wider widths and last longer than they will fit! Great quality and ADORABLE!!
Purchased these in multiple sizes. They are adorable and great support for beginning walkers. These white shoes are traditional baby shoes and go with everything. We love them!
Best shoes for a baby to learn to stand and walk. They fit true to size. Gives stability to the young child's feet. Love, love, love these shoes. My children and grandchildren all wore these shoes.
My 21 month old with tibia torsion used to trip & fall very often. These shoes definitely help keep that from happening as often! I will soon order the next size up! Love these shoes, great quality for the price.
I needed a good pair of walking shoes for my son. Something strong, casual, and durable. He wears them daily to daycare and if they get dirty I simply wipe them off. Live these!! Worth every penny.
I am a mom of TEn and Stride rite shoes have always been my childrens first walking shoe, so naturally now that my youngest son is learning to walk I bought him a pair. I bought him a pair of Grayson’s (4m) and After the first day of wearing them when I noticed that he had, not one but two blisters on the top of his feet Even though he was wearing socks. the tongue of the shoes were digging into the top of his little feet causing two large blisters to form. I have never experienced this problem in all the years of buying stride rite shoes. It looks like the problem is that the tongues are too short to pull up so its causing friction on his skin. Now im stuck with a pair of shoes that he can never wear again.
