Worked great to clear water and keep water clear
Excellent product, it cleared my pool immediately.
So easy. Just place one in the pump filter basket. Works to collet small particles that sink to the bottom of pool. Just sweep up!
This product is everything they tell you. Buy the 3 pack. I put one into the skimmer basket by the pump. The pool is clear within two days. As long as you replace ever 20-30 days you will have a crystal clear pool. Prior to finding this product I used everything to clear my murky pool This is easy and worth every penny You will look like a super star
These things are AMAZING! Pool was Cloudy and milky couldn't see floor of pool in deep end. At about 5 P.M. I placed one Cloudbuster in skimmer basket(directions state to place in either pump or Skimmer basket I chose skimmer) with pump and filter running. I continued with the rest of the evening not giving much thought to the pool. I woke the next morning around 6:30 A.M fixed my morning coffee and and proceeded to the deck to drink it as I often do. When I step onto the deck I was astonished to find that my cloudy milky pool of approximately 13 hours ago was sparkling and clear. I could see the bottom of the deep end form the deck which is about 40ft away and 10ft high. By 5P.M that evening(24 hours from first use) looking at the pool was unbelievable. It was like looking through glass. I will be stocking up.
I have been fighting with my pool water since we opened in April. No matter what, could not clear the cloudy water despite perfect chemical balance. I ordered these and put it in the pump basket. Overnight the water turned sparkly. Seriously. No bull. This product is incredible. I will keep these on hand at all times!
It was not the right chemical for my issue. It did not clear the cloudy water at all I used all three of them and the result was pretty much nothing. Reason being I have dissolved calcium that makes the water cloudy and this product cannot handle that.
I used this product as directed. After two weeks I have not seen any difference on the cloudiness of the water. Better use another water surfactant.
We placed the cloudbuster in the pump basket as per the directions. The next morning, when I was outside I noticed the pump sounded different than normal. When I took off the pump basket cover, there was smoke coming out of it and the basket itself was really hot - this was caused by lack of water while the pump was on. I grabbed the hose to prime the pump and wanted to use the cold water to help cool off the pump. After adding a significant amount of water to make sure everything was cooled off, I turned on the pump and the cloudbuster shot out of the pipes into the pump basket - it had gotten lodged in the pipes and blocked off the water supply. The pump hasn't worked the same since.
Not worth anything! Had an algae problem in my pool this year. Only 3rd time in 36 years of pool ownership. After a couple of days of shock, algecide 60 and clarifier, cloudy pool water was clearing slowly. I bought a Cloudbuster. Description sounded like it would clear the water more quickly. I DON'T THINK IT DID ANYTHING TO IMPROVE WATER CLARITY! Cloudbuster did become a gooey mess, so it must have been disolving, but water remained at same cloudy level. After 2 days I went back to Clarifier Plus and the pool cleared up. My suggestion: stay with Clarifier Plus.
