I had a couple by themselves and then decided to use them as a topping for cottage cheese!! My fav snack, and they added the best natural sweetness without feeling sugary. The flavor was clean and fresh, with a nice balance of tang and sweetness. I appreciate that Dole keeps it simple with water instead of syrup; it was the perfect topping because of that. The can is a great size for quick recipes or snacks, and I'll definitely be picking these up again for an easy, healthy treat.

It's noticeable, but it isn't too tough, and the rest of the ring is soft and falls apart in your mouth. The water around the pineapple is sweet, which makes it a refreshing drink before or after you enjoy your rings. I love that it has no added sugar, yet the liquid is just as refreshing as the fruit! I ended up using most of these in a recipe, which worked perfectly with the large can size and ring shape.
