(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The Dollar Shave Club 1x6-Blade & 1x4-Blade Razor Starter Set was super exciting to use. I'm so surprised at how amazing the quality is. The handle is super sleek and sturdy and offered an extremely good grip in the hands. Both the 1xl4-blade and the 1x6-blade were used on a morning and they both worked smoothly, offering a really close shave. However, the 1x4-Blade offered a better, smoother result than the 1x6-blade as it better for longer hair and also easier to clean up after use. On the other hand, the 1x6-blade razor is useful as it continues a built-in trimmer for a cleaner more precise shave around the delicate areas such as the the nose or the sideburns. He has noticed his skin feels softer. The blades get a nice close shave and two types come in the box. 6 is a super close shave and 4 is not as close but still a great shave. Great price and my husband really liked the blades.

Definitely got a close shave, but after researching cost, I have found similar blades for cheaper. I'm glad I did get to try these with a sampling program because sometimes they can be out of my price range. I'd purchase again on sale. Overall, decent product!

If you're looking for a step up from a disposable razor this will definitely get the job done. If you're looking for a smooth shave on the other hand, this probably isn't the razor for you.

Ive been ordering razors from dollar shave club for years. So when I saw they were selling them at Walmart, I was ecstatic. I had mistakenly purchased these because I thought they were The Executive razors. I assumed they had rebranded the box. Big mistake! Unfortunately, these razors and handle are way cheaper in quality than the original, The Executive. The razors are flimsy and they come off the handle easily. The built-in trimmer blade is completely useless. I would not recommend these specific razors to anyone. Just stick with The Executives.

I loved their previous generation of razors, you'd get a lot of great shaves from one razor. However the new generation that they rolled out into stores isn't even close to the quality they used to have. I have to run over the same place 2-3 times, and I'm not shaving some impressive beard, just my 5'o clock shadow. They don't cut as close, and the replacement razors are still expensive. I would not recommend this kit or razor to anyone. I've heard Harry's is good though and is also carried by Walmart.
