I have owned 3 Aquabot vacuums and, performance wise, this vacuum puts them all to shame! 18x36 pool with 9ft. deep end was spotless in less than 2 hours. Very easy to clean ultra fine cartridges, which btw, did not come with the unit. I hope it doesn't disappoint in the long run.
This vacuum has no difficulty climbing up the walls and stairs in my in-ground pool. No getting caught up in any specific place in pool and no tangling with the cord. User friendly, my two teenage grandchildren use the vacuum without any assistance. Best vacuum we have ever had.
This is the best pool cleaner ever. I’ve had a few different ones and this is efficient, easy to use and clean the filters. Really jappt with this purchase and well worth the price.
This is my second Dolphin and it performs just as I expected. Totally cleans my 40 foot fiberglass pool, walls and waterline. I dont need the wi-fi and Apps that the more expensive ones have. I put it in the pool and press the power button. Done!
I've owned dolphin cleaners previously and have found them reliable and easy to use. The price is reasonable (pool cleaners are all expensive). I had it working in a matter of minutes.
I received my Dolphin today and it is my first pool robot from this company. My previous robot was a total did that broke a drive belt after a few weeks of moderate use. So, when I bought this Dolphin I was hesitant due to the fact that a lot of these robots, regardless of brand, tend to have issues with long term durability. For how much these things cost, you don't want to have to have it fixed every month or two, or lose your money when owning a pool can cost a small fortune every year anyway. Not all of us pool people are flush with money to burn on shoddy equipment. Having said that, I immediately noticed the fit and finish of this Dolphin is very nice. It looks like it should hold up a lot longer than my last bot. I also was smart enough to purchase the four year warranty, and I highly recommend any potential buyers to do the same as I can't attest how long this thing will last. What I can say is that is looks pretty good quality and it has been running like a dream. However I did have to pull it up on its first cycle due to a clog of leaves in the top impeller. Seems to clog easily. Not overly difficult to clear, but after five minutes it had stopped, so it did catch my attention as something that may require frequent cleaning to keep it running. It runs well and seems to make a big difference in the pool. I really like my Dolphin so far and it is absolutely higher quality than that last one. Will update this review in the future if I have any issues besides clearing the filters and the impeller. Good buy! And good bye!
We love our Scooby, he cleans the pool very well runs around the top of the ledge, where the tile is scrub, the bottom scrubs, the steps I should’ve bought one earlier I wish I would’ve spent a little extra money and got a cordless one
I have owned this one before, and another model, and this one works so much better. The suction, the way it moves, and the cord that doesn’t get tangled brought me back to this model. My only complaint is that it does leave black marks on the bottom of my pool, which I can scrub off with a pumice stone.
I owned a pool robot before, so I am comparing the two for my use. The Dolphin Nautilus is easy to operate and does a good job of picking up debris and I love the ease at which I can clean the filters. I don't think it does as good of job of removing small particles like sand and dirt. I have only had the unit a few weeks, so my observation may be premature. The handle to remove the robot from the pool is shorter, which means I have to get lower to remove from the pool. At my age this is a consideration. Too early to tell if I would recommend to friends, but I will say cleaning the filters is really easy.
Know this is the best pool cleaner I can find. Well packaged and arrived super quickly. Some gnawing indicates the main cord to the unit (that stays under water) is not secure to use as is. Will need to look for another one soon. Unfortunately, some rodent had made its way into the packaging and chewed If it weren't under water all the time, I might have attempted to do a DIY repair. But don't think I'm that good.
