Dolphin Proteus DX4 Plus Automatic Robotic Pool Cleaner Ideal for Pools up to 33 FT, Wall & Sun-ledge Scrubbing, Top-Load Filter 99996290-DX4

This is the second Dolphin I have purchased. I use it two to three times daily. I purchased a Aiper brand before and was completely unhappy with its performance and I wasted a lot of money. I will always stick with Dolphin moving forward.

Works great cleaning the bottom, walls and waterline of our pool. Very easy to clean out the filter basket. This is my second. First one lasted six seasons before the cord got “tangle memory”. Because we left it in the shed over the winter. Highly recommend.

It is exactly what we needed for our in-ground pool. Great value and works great.

Much better than my previous Dolphin.

This robot is so easy to use. It does a great job, but it actually could get the deep end a little better. Very portable and much more user friendly than my old one. I love the fact you don't have to hook up with a pool pump system, it operates independently. You do need to have an electric outlet close by to operate. It would be nice for it to come with a hook to retrieve from pool. I would definitely recommend!!

You could go a lot better for another 400 bucks

This cleaner picks up most items from the pool floor and walls. However, there are several features that make it annoying to use. It does not have a cord detangling feature, so I have to make the cleaner spin in the water to detangle the cord every single day it runs. Plus, the wall mounted programming feature only allows for one week of programming and then you have to reset it manually. If you are away for more than a week, it just won't run after 7 days. Finally, the basket was an issue within a week as the spring loaded door wouldn't stay shut when removing from the water and everything vacuumed in would just fall out. That was corrected by a call to Maytronics who sent a new one. Overall, it does work, but is very annoying to use since I have to be involved every day.

Don't connect via bluetooth.

bought it, the app gives me an error message. Can't find the cleaner. 800 customer service takes forever to pick up ( I/m still on hold for a representee)

After such costly robot, can not believe that it Tangles wires heavily and every day have to untangle. Does not have basic time to start and stop at specific time or days. Manually have to push to start !! Did not work on my pool steps. It does not cover all area somehow and noticed that it repeats same areas cleaned vs new area to be efficient.
