I can't believe I got this for the price though it was a sale. I can't find anything wrong with it. It doesn't seem to need anything. Our son loves it and I wouldn't be able to guess the price but I'm not a pro.

I'm very pleased with the delivery of this guitar. It wasn't packaged very well. It wasn't double boxed, but it was flawless. The finish doesn't have any scratches or anything broken. As for the guitar itself, I was stunned. This thing was intonated right out of the box. I couldn't believe it. Everything works as it should. I had a little fret buzz. But it sat outside overnight in 30 degree weather. After a slight adjustment on the truss rod, it was good to go. I already have the pink version of this guitar and it was great out of the box as well. So I ordered the black one, mostly because it was $89.99. $97 and change delivered to the door. This guitar would be the equivalent to the squier hss affinity stat. The quality is as good as a squier. But even at the full price of this guitar, it cost less than the squier and you get the gig bag, a strap, and a cable which isn't bad. And it has the vintage style tuners with the split shaft. Plus the humbucker is a split coil. This is a lot of guitar for the money. I guess the only negative about the particular model is that it is only offered in 2 colors. Black and pink. Don't get me wrong, I'm not going to say this is as good as the player series fender. Because it will need a good setup. But it is well worth more than what you pay. I would definitely recommend this guitar for anyone.

This guitar is amazing, especially for the price. Pickups sound good, tuners are solid, (i.e., won't need replacement right away), perfectly intonated, no fret sprout (they will need some attention before too long, but fine for now) trem works (after adjusting the claw), pink color is awesome in person. I believe this is the first guitar I've purchased that the action was actually too low for my liking. Raised the saddles 1/4 turn and that's it as far as adjusting. The only fault I can find is the tone controls are wired differently than my other strats; that could be fixed pretty easily. This is the 2nd guitar I have purchased from Donner and it compares very favorably to the other, a heavily modded (locking tuners, loaded Fender Player Strat pickguard, Wilkinson bridge) DST-100. I just can't get over how good inexpensive guitars are these days. Wish they had been available when I was starting out some 50 years ago. Get one. See for yourself.

Gorgeous guitar. Beautiful soft sakura pink color, immaculate finish, smooth neck-- seriously pretty. Intonation sounds good to me and it tuned up fine but as with most new instruments, we set it up to our preferences and this type of guitar is totally open to modification and upgrades. Walmart offers it for a steal.

This guitar is great for a beginner if you know how to do some minor set up work. The neck will need to have the tress rod adjusted and the string height set for comfortable playing and the intonation will have to be set so the guitar will stay in tune .After that Your young prodigy will have hours of playing fun. One more item you will need is a guitar amp. You could probably get one with the guitar at walmart.

Perfect condition except humbucker is a bit wobbly ... not sure that it is installed/mounted properly. strings seem cheap and so far have not held tune very long (easy cheap fix.) everything else seems of good quality and finish. no rough fret ends. C'mon... it was under $100 shipped to my door with tax. Didn't even need it. But couldn't resist for the price.
