Cool bass synth
This is a great sounding and easy to use 303-style (but more intuitive than a tb-303 and most of its clones) analog bass synth with fat bass and awesome acid sounds. when i heard about the donner b1, i thought, "for the price, why not?" and it has exceeded my expectations. the only issues, for me, i can think of are: no choice to use batteries for power %26 no speaker (it would be useful, even if it was a low quality volca-like speaker). it is monophonic and has no cv, but has midi in/out, sync in/out, usb-c, main out, aux, and a headphone jack. you can also only move one octave higher and one octave lower, tempo ranges from 40-240bpm, and there's 128 pattern presets, which can be overwritten. on the newest patch (requires an update, using usb-c through a computer—which you can also edit patterns on—or similar device), using song mode, you can choose which patterns to play in order and edit them in a few ways (ex. setting all patterns to the same tempo). i have this hooked up to several of my guitar pedals (among other devices, such as a sampler), and been having a lot of fun with it, just remember to use a 1/4" trs cable in the main out if you want to get stereo sound.
I highly recommend the Donner B1. It is a great clone of Roland's TB-303. I got mine from Walmart at a price that was the cheapest I could find. It arrived one day off the estimated delivery date. Not bad considering the holiday rush.
I am really glad I bought this. For the price, it is definitely worth it. One thing I do wish is that it had a battery that could be charged, so you could play it anywhere. Other than that, it is a great bass synthesizer.
Straight forward and easy to use for a beginner, I like the bass sound and it's a lot of fun to mess around with even if you don't know how to play. I'd give it five stars just for the ease of use. I'm glad I bought it.
Absolutely phenomenal for this price. Beginner, pro, or just messing around you will have a blast with this little powerhouse.
Order arrived quickly . Synth is what I expected and easy to use. I would definitely buy again
Got my order as promised. Thanx a million 😀😀👍
