Neck was warped. 13mm gap at 12th fret. Even after adjusting torsion rod and waiting..., it was at 8mm. It should be at 3mm. Factory strings too tight, or left on for too long, odd one-off, or just poor quality control? I don't know. Easier to return than to try to get it playable. A cheap guitar can get expensive quick when it has to be professionally adjusted for basic operation. Electrics worked. The built-in battery box is cheap, and could easily be a rattle source. All other accessories that came with it seemed good. I like the layout, though the head is too elaborate. It could be very much simpler, smaller, and compact. The 2 outputs (on top, and bottom-back corner) wasn't obvious in advertisements. An output on top?!? Why such a bad spot? Because the electronics were just thrown there because space was available, with no thought to putting an output in an extremely poor place? Probably. That's why there's another output. I'd rather not have electronics on board. Easier to replace, upgrade, and you're less likely to get a bricked guitar because of a short circuit. Nice enough finish. The black was super black.
