Door County Coffee Black and Tan 5lb Whole Bean Specialty Coffee

This is a favorite at our house and the go-to default morning grind. It's warm, full-bodied, has no bitterness, and is just a coffee you can get lost in from opening the bag to enjoying the cup.

This coffee is always fresh, and smells amazing. Every kind of whole bean roast I purchase stays fresh through the entire 5lb bag. I drink fresh ground coffee daily, and my favorites are the black & tan, breakfast blend and Jamaican Me Crazy blends. This coffee tastes way more flavorful than any grocery store blend from larger distributors. Great job.

99% of the time Black & Tan is the only coffee I drink. I grind my beans just before I brew a pot and that's the way I've been doing it for almost 3 years. I've spoiled myself, because no other coffee i drink can compete with the taste of this coffee. I might add that I also use Reverse Osmosis water from a system I setup under my sink 4 years ago, because city water isn't as clean as people think.

B&T is our favorite coffee. Has been for years.

Back & Tan has a clean, smooth taste that mixes well with Country Morning Blend. Since Black & Tan is a popular coffee it would be nice if it came in decaffeinated to enjoy on its own. I will say this is one of the freshest 5 lb bags I have ever received from DCC&T and I've been ordering for many years. The beans were oily and the aroma lingered in the air long after opening the bag.

We like it a lot. I get heartburn easy and this one seems to help alleviate that. Flavor is good and not to bitter. Have bought it a couple of times now. I use to get Black Velvet (?) that I really enjoyed but they don't have that one anymore, but that is what I compare it to.

The last 5 pound bag of Black & Tan whole bean I had was one of the best I ever had from any company of any blend. I checked off all the boxes of descriptors. This bag still is tasty, just a bit too smoky with the imbalance of dark dark to light beans
