Well first of all, half of what I ordered didn't make a noise at all, after battery installation, ect….. The ones that did make a noise, one piece or the other fell off within 15 minutes of putting up. And yes I cleaned area so it would be free of dust, ect….. So count these out if you plan on deterring break ins, or whatever. I'm pretty sure a mouse would look at it and walk not scurry past it. One lil beep isn't going to keep anything away. I wouldn't suggest these but you get what you pay for I guess.
