Dorland's Wax

I used the wax medium last week on a couple of gouache paintings. The product went on smoothly and the next evening buffed to a satin finish. Water beads up off the surface so the paintings are well protected

this is my first time buying this medium. I really liked the ease that it went on to seal my painting. I love my Walmart!

works nicely textured is gritty but reliable but gritty is to be suspected with this material.

Great product to use over watercolor cards. easy to use. very small bottle but should last a long time as not much is needed

I used this on my gouache paintings in my sketchbook. I like paint on both sides of my sketchbook and the paintings on pages that faces each other were starting to smudge. With this wax, my pages and paint are protected. A side benefit is that the wax somehow brightens or intensifies the colors in my paintings in the way the putting gouache paintings under glass does. I really like this product and would recommend it to other gouache painters!

I am on my third gallon of this wax! It is creamy and so easy to use. I mix it with oil paint to spread, layer,scratch through and smear. It stays fresh in the jar and does not dry put. I can use a little or a lot to achieve different looks. Adding just a bit will allow the paint to stay vibrant and adding more will create a glaze effect. Its versatility is superb and I would highly recommend this for anyone.

I used this to seal watercolor greeting card! It worked beautifully, also applies easily!

The product itself is great. Now if i had gotten enough to use that would have been great too. The listing said 4oz. I got 1oz. When I contacted Walmart about this they said that the distributor had changed the listing, and if I wanted to return it I could. Well of course I know that I can return it, but I don't want to. I want the product. Very disappointed.

Wrong size advertised and charged at 4 times the price. 4 oz runs at $11. Seller was not responsive and did not resolve or apoligize.
