Dorothy Deluxe Child Halloween Costume

My daughter hasn't worn the costume yet, as it is for Halloween, but we have opened it, tried it on and washed it. The dress seems to be of very nice, good-quality material, and the petticoat underneath is so cute. I was thinking the petticoat would not stand out as much as it does, so it beat my expectations. I wasn't too impressed with the hairbows, she will most likely not wear those. They are a different material than the dress and a slightly different shade of blue. Overall, I am pleased and confident the costume will last to be added to the dress-up bin after Halloween.

We were genuinely pleased with the authenticity of the costume. The straps aren't attached at the shoulders, and therefore fall off. We had them taken up and sewn on. Also, the bows that come with it are a much darker blue than the dress...to the point where they do not match & look a little funny. We bought the "red ruby" dress shoes at walmart and now the look is complete. I would recommend this product.

The costume or what dress and bow are adorable but for the value I would have expected the shoes, basket and stuffed animal as well. I knew that I wasn't getting that with it but let's face it, I got half a costume. I have to find a cairn terrior stuffed animal and a basket and the shoes. Pretty costume but half a costume at best.

The quality was a little less than expected, but it looks really cute on. The bow is not cute at all, so we will just use something else for hair. It was a little big for my 7 year old but we can take up the straps and it looks fine. My daughter says it's itchy, but she doesn't even like pantyhose, so she will wear undershirt and shorts. Overall, very cute and worth the money.

This costume was made well and was very comfortable for several hours of wear. It was also much cheaper than all the other costumes I found. It could use a pair of red slippers or shoe covers - I did have to find those somewhere else.

This is a very cute costume, my daughter loves it, unfortunately it's not made to last, she tried to put it on herself and the zipper ripped... Had to take it to get it fixed but still love the costume.

When I ordered this costume I was sceptical at first because I was unsure of how it would fit. It fits awesome and the material is great quality. I love this and think it's worth the money.

The costume was excellent. The problem was their size small is not our size small. Didn't have time to return thur the mail, so the local Wal-mart refunded my money without any problems. I did find dorothy costume at another store, with elastic waist instead of a zipper so a size small did work.

Because of the unclear nature of the sizing and my own laziness, the product is a bit snug on my average sized daughter. The quality leaves something to be desired, but hey, it's halloween, not the prom.

I measured my daughter before ordering to make sure this would fit. However, the dress was too short. It looks OK with tights, but there's no way I'd let her wear it with bare legs and socks. Also, the straps are too long, so I had to safety pin them in the middle of her back. She also said the waistband was itchy, so I had her wear a white t-shirt under it. I would have returned it, but I was short on time and didn't want to search for a better costume somewhere else. It seemed expensive for the poor fit and quality though.
