After using it for a few days, my skin felt soft and renewed. It lathers really well and smells great!! The smell of the beauty bars is refreshing. But after two weeks of using it, my face became dry with dry patches and pimples. I have combination skin and this product dried me out. My daughter has oily skin and she uses it with no problems. It's hard finding good skin care products. I suggest finding your skin type and understand your skin and what it needs.

I used this a long time ago but recently went back while trying to simplify my routine. I didn't find it as gentle as I remembered. It had a strong fragrance and I found it a little drying for my dry skin. But it's a nice and cost effective cleanser for those with heartier skin than mine!

I used to use Dove years ago and decided to buy it again. Can't quite understand the 5star reviews. Aside from the obviously smaller size, it was an effort to actually get suds. I remember a creamier soap and this dry bar is a waste of money.

What has happened to the smell? It smells rancid, not the usual soft, powdery smell.
