I have been using this deodorant for 6 months now. I apply it after I shower. It goes on clear and dry so I can immediately put on clothes afterwards without worrying about awkward white stains. It works well over 24 hours. I enjoy working out and being outdoors so I sweat a lot. It is rare this doesn't perform well though. I like the spray container because I am notorious for dropping the solid deodorant containers causing them to crumble.

I don't usually go for spray deodorants, but this one pleasantly surprised me! It smells nice but not too strong, and really lasted all day on me! The application is also great, and doesn't shoot out too much product at once which seems to happen with a lot of spray deodorants. This is really gentle as well and doesn't irritate my skin, which is something I always look for!

I love this spray so much. Whenever I first started using it, the performance of how it sprayed out it did bother me a bit because it would sting me a bit but eventually that went away. Make sure to aim it correctly or it will stain your clothing a bit. It is very refreshing though, it is cool and does last long!

I used this product for many years, Dove dry spray cool Essentials 48 hour. It's the only product/brand that works for me, and cool Essentials variety in particular works best; as I am not allergic to the fragrances in it and it provides good protection. Late last year, 2025, I replenished my Supply, and upon first use I noticed something was different about the scent. It was obnoxious, at best. After a couple weeks of struggling, and having severe allergy symptoms, I looked at my Dove dry spray can. As it turns out, it stated 72-hour, not 48 hour, protection. Apparently, the formula has changed and the only change I can attest to is that more or different fragrances have been added. I can't be the only person who is allergic or offended by the new 72-hour formula. What have you done and why? Since then, I've been scrambling trying to find and purchase the 48 hour product through different online sources. When those sources run dry, apparently I get to start at Ground Zero trying to find a product I'm not allergic to and that works.
