These were fresh and good tasting, rich dark chocolate squares wrapped in foil with little sayings on the wrapper. I get them at grocery pickup and keep mine in the fridge for freshness where they are good for weeks. I hope the darker chocolate will be stocked for pickup from Walmart in the future, since it has more antioxidents for health. Two of these squares amount to the calories in most granola bars.

I liked these but they shrunk the candies down and raised the price up so much. I'm comparing it to an older piece of chocolate and they did nothing to hide how much less product you are getting. This shrinkflation is getting ridiculous. I'm going to have to buy double everything just to get the same amount of product. They shrunk each piece of the product by width AND height. Additionally, it's slightly concave at the bottom instead of directly flat; that means even less product. I have an older piece of candy and purchased a new bag recently, so the candy felt different when I grabbed one.

Item advertised as 8.62 ounce bag, but the 3rd party seller, sent me a 7.61 ounce size. I complained and did receive a partial refund, however, I wanted the larger size bag . Be sure to check your items

I love Dove Dark Promises. These were very inexpensive as well they should have been. The chocolate is not the usual creamy Dove Promise but a crunchy, whitish flavorless lump. I suspect they got hot somewhere and are likely old.

Because the bag said it was Dove Promises Assorted Valentine's Day Dark Chocolate, I thought I was getting assorted dark chocolate with different fillings-as caramel. These were all solid dark chocolate. I feel it was misleading. I was not happy. Please be aware this is all solid dark chocolate.

This was very disappointing. Sent this candy to my daughter and it came completely melted. She said it was a blob. I will NEVER get any chocolate from Walmart!

The chocolate is so old, it's really gross. How long has this been on the shelf? I don't care if the expiration date is 6/2021, it tastes like crap, and I should know, I eat Dove dark chocolate every day.

The pieces in this bag of Dove Promises are hard as rocks and do not taste fresh at all. Not the smooth dark chocolate I was expecting. I will NOT go inside a store, so it looks like I just threw four bucks away and still don't have my chocolate.

Purchased 2 bags both were stale and had a chaulkie film like they had been frozen at some point. Spoiler from Santa giving away old chocolate in the kids stocking!
