Great start to drawing!
I got couple of drawing books by Barbara for my 5 year old and he has shown a very good interest in trying some of them independently. I see this as a BIG shift as before he was little bit hesitant about drawing and we had to kind of keep pushing him :)

Great for beginner artists
I got 2 of these books for my 2 granddaughters (ages 11 and 6 years). The 11 year old I got for to help her develop her drawing skills better and the 6 year old to begin to refine her her drawing skills. The photos/drawings are clear, simple and easy to follow.

MY 9 YEAR OLD NEPHEW ASKED FOR BOOKS THAT HELP YOU LEARN TO DRAW FOR HIS BIRTHDAY. I SHOPPED AT A FEW STORES BUT FOUND THAT WALMART HAD THE BEST SELECTION FOR THE BEST PRICE. MOST FOR $5 AND UNDER!! THIS BOOK WAS SO STEP BY STEP AND IS GREAT TO LEARN THE BASICS. IT TAUGHT HOW TO DRAW ABOUT 50 PICTURES AND FOR ABOUT $3 THAT WAS THE BEST DEAL.
