I have completed the entire series and wish they kept the story line going with the entire team to show life as it became after the orignal era. History did not stop and story lines could have been expanded as it had a very large following.

LOVE Downton Abbey
So looking forward to viewing this movie, which --even though a Downton Abbey fan--I'd only seen the first movie featuring the Queen's visit to Downton. Now I will have seen all but the newest movie (Grand Finale), which I pre-ordered here.

DOWNTOWN ABBEY A NEW ERA (2022) WAS THE 2ND FILM MADE AFTER THE SERIES ENDED. A GREAT CAST AND HISTORICAL ERA MADE THIS FILM A MUST OWN FILM. DAME MAGGIE SMITH (2 TIME OSCAR WINNER 1969 AND 1978) PASSED AWAY BEFORE THE NEXT FILM WAS MADE IN 2025.

I watched the TV version of Downton and was excited to see movie 1 and movie two before my theater experience for movie 3. The characters, clothing, and scenery were of great quality. Also there were additional related interviews of the actors.
