Downton Abbey: Season 1-2 [DVD]

An exception series on PBS and excellent buy at Walmart on both Seasons 1 and 2. Very prompt delivery as well. Would highly recommend Downton Abbey to all viewers who enjoy superb acting and terrific story writing.

Downton Abbey is good family T V. The BBC has all of American T V beat on all the shows. Could not find this in any store, but Walmart on line was fast and easy to pick up in the store. Thanks

Very excited to get both seasons together! Quick delivery to store and no problem getting it from the store.

It's a dvd, so no real review to be made. I do love Downton Abbey though! I would recommend the series to anyone. Just watch one episode and you'll be hooked!

We were happy to get both seasons together for such a great price. We have not opened it yet to see the quality of the DVD so we cannot comment on anything but price, delivery and packaging.

This is an excellent show, however when I opened it after arriving, I went to pop one of the disks out and it cracked… Ive never broken a CD in my life. It was very strange. My only guess is that there was a problem in manufacturing. I am a petite girl, and there was no reason my thumb and pointer finger should've cracked a disc. Thankfully I was able to return it in store, even though I ordered it online.

Description of DVD said it was, original UK unedited edition. The DVD that I received did not say that it was the "unedited" edition. The stock number was correct. There are at least two major scenes that were in the television series that are left out of this edition. I quit watching after the second scene was missing. Some of the other DVDs may be what was shown on TV in the US, but this one is not, and that was what I wanted.

This is one of the most captivating ""series, soap operas, mini-series, English programs" my wife and I have ever enjoyed and gotten so wraped up in!!!!! (and I do not like "soaps" as a rule!) All I can suggest is watch a minimum of 2 episodes and question if you would like to see more of it!
