This fabric softener has a lovely scent that remains in the clothes for a while. Its scent is what makes me eager to wash the laundry. I used the downy romantic infusions and I thought the scent was great when I smelled it in the bottle. I must say the smell is still very pleasant to me but my husband thought it was too much of a perfume type smell so he wasn't a fan. The scent is a little sweet for my families likings and not my favorite downy scent (only because I will have to use multiple products for different loads of laundry) but I do like it. I will definitely use it for towels and my sheets but not for my boys clothes because it is quite a feminine scent. It provides the same great softness that I've come to expect from Downy. i can't use the downey softener because my bottle contains a thick substance that will not dissolve in my washing machine. i have tried to add some water and it still remains very thick. i won't buy this product ever again. i wish I could've gotten my money back.
