You've said it all! Downy April Fresh name speaks for itself - soft, fresh and much more! Every time I take my clothes to the Dry Cleaners to be pressed the lady always say "Downy Fresh" because the scent is still in my clothes. Downy is just "AWESOME" and I wholeheartedly recommend it to all buyers.
I will continue to buy this daily as long as it is at the price city is it also smells good. It is wonderful in your clothes and it will last very long. Everything about it is wonderful. The price the smell how long it stays in your clothes, I mean it's just amazing. I wish you'd give it a try and see if it works for you too.
I love the way this works. It's designed to remove excess soap from your clothes. Try this experiment at home. Fill your sink with soapy, bubbly water. Add a cap of Downy. No more bubbles. It also loosens the fibers in your clothes. If your cotton sweater shrunk in the dryer, soak it in a water and Downey solution. Stretch it back to its correct size, air dry it on a towel and you may have just saved your sweater. Here's the one thing to remember... NEVER, EVER, USE IT ON TOWELS!!!!!! The relaxing agent will keep them from absorbing as much water. Oh yeah, you don't need to use as much as they recommend. Remember they want you to use it up quickly so you can buy more. Experiment with the amount until you find your perfect amount for your washing machine.
The Downy brand of fabric softeners is the very best compared to any other brand of fabric softeners. I like that it's concentrated which helps make it stretch further than most other fabric softeners. It has such a nice scent and reduces static cling too.
I would say I desperately should buy something out for a few weeks at this point, but it did last me several months and that's why I've been failing to put it back on the list. I love a product that lasts in extremely long time and this definitely hits that market.
“This fabric conditioner gives clothes a nice softness and pleasant fragrance. The scent is strong at first wash and stays for a while. It works well for daily laundry, but some people may prefer a lighter fragrance. Overall, it improves freshness and fabric feel.”
Downy is soft and has a great scent. It does not leave spots on my clothes. I place the Downy in the the final rinse of the wash cycle. It doesn't stain the clothes and I put them in the dryer. There is no stains when I take them out, that is what I like about Downy it rinses clean. It's a great product..
Downy fabric softener is hands down one of the best additions to my laundry routine. From the very first use, I noticed how much softer and fresher my clothes felt—and smelled! The scent is clean, comforting, and long-lasting without being overpowering. It gives my laundry that “just-washed” freshness for days. What I love most is how gentle it is on all fabrics. Whether it’s everyday clothes, towels, or bedsheets, everything comes out of the dryer feeling smooth and cozy. I’ve also noticed less static and fewer wrinkles, which is a huge win when I’m short on time. A little goes a long way, so the bottle lasts a while—definitely worth the price. If you’re looking to upgrade your laundry game, I highly recommend Downy. It’s the perfect finishing touch to make your clothes feel brand new.
I think it's way too expensive, but I guess all the softeners are these days. I couldn't find my softener I had used for decades, until one day I did, but they gave it a bad smell at double the price. What is wrong with leaving a product alone? You know. If it ain't broke, don't fix it! Even Downy changed their smell, I liked their original scent. This April Fresh is the mildest scent I could find.
I've been buying Downey for years and have noticed the quality dropping for several years, but not the price. It used to be thicker and would last longer but now I feel like I’m pouring water into my wash. Getting less for more is not what we need.
