Actually a great purchase at the on sale price point for black friday that I picked them up at. For that price range they are very solid and the knives themselves have a good utiliarian design. That shows they focused on them and not as much as the detailing on the "fit" for the knives in the housing. Which is clearly the defect point at not being "really" sized per knife. At ie machined for all of them. This is fine as the knives are the important part and they are well made by themselves. Per each knife itself.

Exactly what I hoped for. Finally, I own some sharp knives and I made bread just to test the serrated knife. I don't know how I lived without one. Love everything about my gift to myself.

Heavy duty handle and storage block. The knives are extremely sharp and cut through all foods with ease except bones. Highly recommend if in the market for knives.

Enjoying this little set! Takes up minimal space, looks sleek and is surprisingly good quality for the price. Knives are sharp, well put together, seem sturdy even though they're not very heavy. The block is beautiful. Extremely pleased with the purchase.
