i use this almond scent as my floor and wood cleaner. i have an old plastic squirt bottle from a previous floor cleaner brand that i fill with this soap and water. it leaves a mild nice scent after cleaning but doesn't linger long. i'm very happy with how it cleans my floors and wooden furniture.
It smells so good, I have been looking for this scent all my life. It was in a lotion my mom used when I was lil. I had no idea when I ordered this. It works great on my laundry and I can't wait to try it in diy shampoo. My clothes feel lighter and smell so nice.
I'm so happy that I could replenish my supply of Dr. Bronner's castille liquid soap at Walmart❤️! The almond scent is very pleasant like Marzipan. All the different scents smell great and are natural, not artificial. Dr. Bronner's is natural, good for the environment, and also gentle. The soap is very versatile and can be used for a lot of different cleaning applications. I use it for bathing and hand soap; in addition, it's also great for dishwashing, handwashing delicate clothing, and cleaning various surfaces in the kitchen and bathroom and around the apt. I simply follow the instructions on the bottle to mix it with water to the appropriate strength for the task.
I use this primarily as a body wash. I love the almond scent. A 16 oz bottle is long lasting (super concentrated) and cleans without drying skin. I am also a fan of diluting this as a floor or multipurpose cleaner, using it for shaving, and even as an occasional foot bath (although I tend to use the peppermint for that).
This scent is absolutely amazing. It is sweet yet not overpowering. It is one of my favorites to use on a regular basis. I not only use this for personal care, but I also use this to clean my car as well to also utilize as an air freshener because I enjoy the scent. Enjoy.
This soap cleans extremely well. My husband wanted to switch to cleaner products for our health and the environment. I was very resistant cause I falsely believed the heavy duty chemicals cleaned better. I stand corrected. This is great for dishes, hand soap, bathing my infant, bathing my toddler, cleaning laundry, a general all purpose cleaner in a spray bottle, and even washing my face.
About 10-15 years ago Dove and Caress gave me reactions that was initially thought to eczema. The dermatologist began to treat me for a condition that I never had. I was told it could be from food or a new bs allergy blah blah blah. I came across a holistic person talking about the benefits of this soap and I brought it. My skin immediately cleared up. No more itching and shedding skin. I am truly grateful for people who still have great business practices and clean ingredients.
This is a great liquid soap, but... I put it into a dispenser by my sink. It is nice and soft, good for dry skin, with a great fragrance. BUT, 1) It has enough oil in it that my sink looks greasy after using it, and I have to clean it almost daily; 2) It is thinner than the liquid soap I was using, and it just squirts everywhere, making it rather messy. So, I appreciate all the natural ingredients, etc., but will probably not purchase again. We LOVE the bar soap and use it in the shower!!
I've used Dr. Bronner's peppermint for over 30 years. I recently tried the baby castile soap which I love. I wanted to love this but the almond smell is way too much for me. It's like taking a shower in a bakery (which some people might enjoy.) I mix it with the scent free baby soap. Still it's a nice soap maybe for hands. It also works well in a foaming dispenser.
Dr.Bronners has changed..Not in a good way.. it used to be the best.. gentle on sensitive skin.. the Almond was sooo good as a body wash.. the cooling peppermint was perfect for summer.. NOw, sadly, it leaves a thick pore clogging film on the skin . The WORST is that it irritates the private areas (Dracarys).
