This is a great product. I'm so glad I ventured into the hair care line. I have very sensitive skin and don't like to change products. Absolutely no issues at all. Love it.
I really like to use this product after I wash with the 4-in-1 Sugar Soap. The Sugar Soap leaves my hair feeling tangly but the Citrus Rinse softens my hair so it doesn't tangle. My hair did feel a little oily the first time I used it but I figured it was either my hair adjusting to a new product or I didn't rinse it out well enough. Either way, it hasn't happened again. I highly recommend reading the blog about using these products because it is different than normal shampoo/conditioner!
This took a bit a getting used to, but I love how clean & fresh my hair is! It does not suds like regular shampoo & so feels weird the first couple of times you use it. I've learned I don't have to keep adding more trying to get it to suds lol. At first I was not thrilled about the scent while washing, but my hair smells great later. I'm also able to go another day or two between washings now that I could not with traditional type shampoo. So I have fallen in love with it. Sure did not think I would the first time I poured it into my hand!
Absolutely perfect! This is a wonderful replacement for apple cider vinegar. I have doing the no poo method for a few months now. I would always have a hard time getting the vinegar smell out of my hair. This product changed the game! It's a great acid rise that smells citrusy not like vinegar and still makes my hair soft and tangle free. Thank you making this product it's changed my life!
I think the verbage in the description is a little off on this one, but I do like the product. This was advertised as a cream rinse which would normally mean it would replace a conditioner. There wasn't enough slip in the formula for that. It doesn't suds up to use as a traditional shampoo either. However, it worked excellent as a deep cleaner to remove excess oil or product from my hair. I plan to use this once per week or as needed.
I really liked this rinse when I bought my first bottle. It was thick, dark and gel- like prior to diluting. It made my hair feel amazing. My second bottle was different. It was much thinner and lighter in color. And did not seem the same. My hair still felt nice but nothing like the first bottle. Not as soft and silky. So maybe the formula was changed. Not certain.
I wanted to switch all of my products over to Dr. Bronner but I just couldn't do it with the hair rinse. Having to dilute it in a cup of water then rinse it through my hair wasn't convenient and then the scent sort of smelled like oranges that were getting ready to turn.
The citrus can be slightly painful on a delicate scalp. Awkward to apply. DO NOT GET IN EYES! Otherwise it's vital when using Dr. Bronner's liquid soap to wash your hair as I do.
I don't like this. It feels greasy when used as recommended as a hair rinse (2 caps full diluted in water) so I cut it down to 1 cap - still greasy. Cut it to half a cap and it's still greasy. I can feel the shower floor get greasier when I use it too. My hair doesn't look good, it looks lank and stringy and normally it's wavy or curly. I'm going to finish the bottle but I won't be buying this again.
I have no idea how this works because I refuse to put it on my hair. The smell is awful! I have no idea how this got past product testing. I plan to send it back for a refund.
