Dr. Bronner's Peppermint Shaving Soap - 7 oz

I have suffered from prickly heat since childhood, so I have to be very careful what I use to shave my legs. This shaving soap has been an absolute miracle. It has just enough substance to provide a smooth shave, without all the unnecessary lather and poor-clogging additives you find in traditional shaving creams and gels. Washes away so cleanly, leaves skin feeling buttery smooth, and does not dry out the skin. The peppermint version does a great job of cooling and calming the skin, and is a nice experience for the sinuses, too. Please never stop making this product!

I like that this shaving soap is made with natural ingredients. It smells like molasses and peppermint oil. It provides a close shave and it leaves my face feeling moisturized. I also am reassured that this product is better for my health, my skin, and the environment.

I really wanted to like this shaving soap, but it just wasn't for me. It wasn't harsh and wasn't irritating, but it was just too thin for me. It's probably perfect for someone, but not me. One thing I wasn't a fan of is the plastic packaging, though that seems to be the way of things. It does have a wonderful peppermint scent, which moderated after rinsing. It was a great scent to wake up to, but it didn't quite let the razor glide like I'm accustomed to. I'd definitely try a thicker reformulation.

Have only used this product once, so perhaps I will get used to it. Unlike most all commercial shave creams I have used, this one is sugar based and quite "sticky". Gives a decent shave but needs to be rinsed off thoroughly, otherwise it can leave a tacky residue. No doubt my concerns will abate with future use. Love Dr. Bronner's products!

The shaving cream smells wonderful but doesnt lather up at all and we have soft water. The instructions are very hard to find on the tube and are of little help.

Runny and is on the shower floor faster than I can catch it in my hand. Is an ant welcomer.

Look I love Bronners and have been using their products for almost 30 years now, but this sucks. Biggest issue is the tube it comes in - needs to be a pump as the product is very runny. Unless you're ok with the majority of your product running down the sink and all over the counter top, this tube is terrible. That being said it foams up decently, but I don't really understand the purpose of this product when I could just use the other soap, or even the lotion for a more comfortable shave. Can't recommend buying it, sorry Bronners but this a swing and a miss.

I was excited to try the organic shaving soap it's like shaving with oil it's the same soap is in the normal bottles only the package it in the shaving soap it has hardly any leather no matter how much you mess with it in your hands I think it was a waste of a purchase.
