I am currently prescribed a medication that makes my lips severely chapped and this has been the only relief. I would highly recommend to others. It is smooth, not too heavy or oily, it does have weight and applies coverage but as a woman who doesn't like heavy lipsticks those oily sticky balms or glosses, this is perfect.
I have very dry chapped lips... all the time. I also pick my lips as a nervous habit. This is the ONLY chapstick that works so well that I have nothing to pick at. it is waxy and feels pretty uncomfortable on lips but I'll take the good with the bad. IT WORKS! Highly recommend
I have chronically dry sensitive lips %26 use lip balm throughout the day. some of my favorites have been Chapstick original %26 extra moisturizing and certain Burt's Bees. my all-time favorite, however, is Dr. Dan's Cortibalm. It lasts a little longer on my lips than the others %26 soothes the skin on my lips, which can sometimes burn mildly. It has no scent or flavor %26 glides on smoothly. My only complaint is the price %26 I actually stopped buying it for a while because of it, but have recently decided to just pay the price. If another equitable product was available for a more reasonable price, I'd switch but I do love this product. Perhaps if more people bought it, the price would come down . . . so but BUY IT! with confidence.
I used this to reduce swelling in my lip after I bit it while eating. One quick application at bedtime and the swelling was gone the next morning. As a nurse, I don't recommend using it more than a couple days to take care of a short-term issue like a bug sting or lesion; if you have a long-term or serious issue, see a physician before trying anything.
The product is obviously the size of a chapstick but overall it works good. My son had very chapped lips and by the next day they were better. Smell is weird but he didn't mind.
A lip cover with cortisone. it stays on my lips adequately. my lip are dry due to medication side-effects. I use it exclusively. It soothes my dry lips very well. i recommend Dr. Dan's.
I like the color and taste. It help my fever blister on my lip. I had tried other product but they didn't work like Dan's lip balm. I would recommend it to anyone. Will buy again.
Been using this lip balm for about three years now. It was recommended to me from my dermatologist. I had used so many different types of Chapstick lip balms but nothing was working. I have a rare autoimmune which affects my hair and my skin, my joints, etc. I highly recommend this product. It leaves your lips feeling so amazing and looking phenomenal at the same time. I cannot leave home without it i have a rare audio me which affects my hair and my skin, my joints, etc. I highly recommend this product. It leaves your lips feeling so amazing and looking phenomenal at the same time. My morning routine has to have Dr. Dans in it!
well first of all when they stress I get cold sores, I've been looking for something to treat them in a ChapStick tube and that's when I found Cortibalm! it's a lifesaver for me. when I feel one coming on I rub it in real well and do it throughout the day two or three four times and I am cold sore free, it never comes out. I would definitely recommend at least for cold sores!
It may be good for a specific problem with chapped lips but this did not help an extreme case I had. Also this product is drying if you use it by itself so I ended up putting Blistex over that. The Blistex may have caused the product not to work. I bought Okeefes Lip Repair Cream afterwards and that is helping much much more than many things Ive tried.
