I have gotten this under eye serum previously from Amazon and bought it from Walmart this time because they had it on sale. don't think I would have purchased it at its regular price which is well over $70, but when it's on sale for under 50 it's a bargain. I'm over 60 years old so I use under eye creams and serums regularly as part of my night time routine and find that it really helps greatly in keeping that area moist and minimizing wrinkles. I don't really have a problem with dark splotching under my eyes per se, and I find that the rare cases where I have puffiness and this may help with people with dark circles as well, I use the liquid or metal ice rollers that you keep in your freezer. those work the best for any kind of puffiness or dark circles by far. however, regular use of an under eye cream or serum is essential to moisturize an area around the eyes where you cannot use regular lotion as it will cause poor clogging. although this bottle of serum is very tiny, you only use a tiny dot to Pat around your eyes. also, this particular serum can be used on the eyelids which is NOT the case for many other brands of eye creams and serums. if you don't already have eye serum or eye cream in your nightly repertoire, I highly suggest you start doing so as it makes a huge difference. just make sure you read the instructions carefully to see whether or not whatever brand you buy can be used on the lid area as well as under eye area.
Sorry to say I had high expectations for this and honestly it made the under eye fine lines worse. Enough that after 4 days I stopped using it. It seemed to actually dry out my skin, and I even used a good moisturizer on top of it after seeing the results on the first use. No change. I will look for something else and never use this again.
