Dr. Elsey's Clean Tracks Clumping Clay Cat Litter 20 lb. Box

I have used the multicat and this one. This is one SO dusty. I am baffled because the multicat one was superb (in tracking and LOW/NO dust) when I used it a couple months back. I only got this one because multicat was out of stock. My 3 cats track this litter everywhere too. The one good thing is that it does work for smell.

My emotional support animal cat seems to like using this litter. It's still messy when she flies out of the box when she's done, but that has nothing to do with the product and everything to do with the cat. She does not have accidents in the house we scoop every day and add baking soda to make sure there is no smell.

we look for clean health conscious products and this one checks out. we switched from big commercial brands that had toxic chemicals and fragrances to this more natural product and it exceeds expectations. last and has minimal odors until the time comes to clean.

Former Tidy Cat litter user, switched a few months ago.. very pleased. I did have to purchase a fancier scooper because it does seem to clump so well that it sticks to the bottom of my stainless steel box. Which was fine by me since the cost is half what I was paying. Dust around box has decreased. I'm sure my fat boys appreciate that as well.

What a rip off this purchase was! an unopened box of this litter weighed 16 lb. I'm talking about the box plus the litter only weighed 16 lb! 20 lb of litter my butt! class action lawsuit should be brought against the manufacturer for false advertisement. Will never buy another product from this manufacturer.

I have spent so much money on cat litter. I have 3 cats and a bad back so, when I discovered this brand it felt almost, heaven sent. Less litter paw prints on my floor, more clumping, and the odor control lasted so much longer than the other kinds.

Aside from the other positive aspects as checked..... I love the size and shape of the box as well. It works well when packing household items and even a nice box, strong and secure when used for shipping items.

I've used a lot of cat litters that claim to be hard-pack, and that usually means nothing. They create crumbly balls that you need to get out fast before the break down into the litter spreading their stinky-joy throughout. But this litter — it creates a strong solid ball that refuses to crumble, is so very easy to scoop out cleanly, and they may be right about it also not tracking. I'm buying again for those, ahem, Magnificent Balls of Clay.

I had to switch from Special Kitty litter to Dr. Elsey's because they changed the formula on Special Kitty and it is no longer any good. I am very impressed with Dr. Elsey's scooping litter. It clumps better than any other litter I have tried and I have tried just about all of them. Even though it is unscented, which my cats appreciate, it still does a pretty good job on controlling odor. It is SO easy to scoop out of the litter boxes; the clumps are tight hard little balls that just scoop right out without breaking up and making more work for me. The price is higher than what I used to pay for the Special Kitty brand but it is very good quality and is worth it. This will be my new go to litter unless Special Kitty goes back to their old formula. If you're like me and found yourself needing to find a new litter, try Dr. Elsey's litter. You won't be disappointed. Dr. Elsey was my veterinarian many years ago in CO and he is the sweetest person and the best veterinarian my cats have ever had. I'm happy to support someone like him. My cats give this litter and Dr. Elsey a big thumbs up! >^..^<

The litter itself is great. The problem is in the cardboard box the litter is in. The box is not LEAK PROOF. So when I opened up the Walmart shipping box, there was a lot of litter which leaked out of the Dr. E box and that litter made a mess all over the place. I would buy this product again, but I would not order it to ship to me from any store. I would go to purchase it in person. I think Dr. E litter should be packaged in a plastic bag prior to putting it inside their card board box.
