I used a cotton ball to swab this over slow healing nodules on my arm and it did not stand at all but provided hours of itching relief. I really like old-fashioned remedies like this and was excited to come across this linament. I have used it for cut, scrapes, bug bites, itchy nodules, and even a pimple on my face. It does relieve muscle pain but has a kerosene smell (it contains kerosene).
