I heard about this on a working dog site since I have a Black Mouth Cur that is nothing near a "pretty" breed. He climbs and gets cuts. I was getting some stuff at the vet for three times the price for half as much. My dog doesn't even lick this like the stuff from the vet so it healed in no time. CAUTION FIRST TIME USERS!!! This stuff is purple. I mean Prince Purple so don't use inside. It dries quickly so no reason to keep them outside long after application though.

Tried this a few years back on the recommendation of an associate at the Paso Robles SC Biotech store. Have been purchasing ever since. This stuff is great for drying out wounds, especially wounds with ooze or pus, like the description says. I always keep this on hand in my equine and canine medical kit.

This product is an antiseptic liquid bandage that will stain everything. IT WORKS, though! I've seen 3 vets...tried so many meds, ointments...nothing seems to have success. My son-in-law told me about this product that they used for their fighting chickens, and it worked well.....what you know, they make one for dogs. note...bitter bandages and spray are like a treat for my Chihuahuas.
