I have totally switched from clay litter to these pellets. It smells 100% better than even premium cat litters because it's NOT cat litter. I had tried it years ago but had one cat that wouldn't get with the program. He has since passed and now there are no holdouts. It is also compostable which makes it even better. The price is OBVIOUSLY a small fraction of what you pay for litter. It is so easy to scoop out the solids. I generally scoop more pellets on top until the box is full and I dump it. Nobody ever smells the litter box. Love it!

best thing for litter boxes! i've been using wood pellets for my cats litter boxes for years, it's cheaper than “normal” cat litter, it's safer for your cats, it's way less messy with no dust getting tracked everywhere like traditional litter protip: use a stainless steel litter box instead of plastic which retains odors I recently found out that walmart sells this brand and I can have it delivered to my house for free with my walmart membership is an added bonus of one less thing i have to make a trip to the store for.

I use these pine pellets as cat litter, and they're such a great budget-friendly alternative to the ones specifically advertised for cats. You get double the amount for a much lower price! Definitely a great way to save money without spending extra on something labeled as cat litter.

I'm liking Dr Pols Pine pellets so far. it is not dusty as some can be. It appears to absorbs the urine odors. I will continue to use this until the price goes up, up, up as has happened previously with this brand. Yes I recommend it.
