Delivered quickly and just in time for me to change the way riding the bus feels during extended number of trips and/or extended hours riding. I take public transportation, and though grateful for that service, it wreaks havoc on my 71 yr. old neck, spine, and more recently a two month sciatic nerve flare-up. Since I am riding the bus to go to a wellness center for heated pool therapy/resistance training (I have MS) 3x/week, I couldn't afford to cause any further damage by being jostled around on buses that probable need new shocks and new seats (with cushions). I normally purchase gel/memory foam cushioning, but this cushion is much sturdier, necessary for use involving shock absorption. You can take the woman out of the nurse, but you can never take the nurse out of the woman. Thank goodness. For the number of those younger, take care of your body; you only get one. There are no do-overs.
This is an amazing seat cushion! I bought it because i was desperate for a cushion to use at a 3 day long event, and it worked beautifully. I was able to sit all day in comfort. I have already recommended it to my mother and some others who often need to use a cushion.
My husband drives about 60 hours a week OTR. He started having pain in his lower back, so I did a little research and found this orthopedic back support pillow. He has been using the pillow for a couple of months and said his back is no long in pain. It stays put while driving and relieved the pressure in his lower back. He is very happy with the Doctor Scholl's posterior seat pillow.
I've only used this cushion overnight and for a few hours this morning but so far it's very comfortable. I bought it to use with an old recliner that needs replacement and had become very uncomfortable. The cushion will allow me to postpone replacing the recliner for awhile. I have to sleep in the recliner due to spinal stenosis, so the cushion has even improved my sleep. I do wish the cushion was a little wider so that I'm not spilling over it but so far it hasn't caused any discomfort.
outside nylon case has zipper, so ya can pull it off and wash it ..i use mine for a stool for my bed room..its super comfy been debating on getting one for years, not sure how durable it is...prob best to keep it off rough surfaces like wood and metal and cast iron benches ...and more indoors or just keep it on a car seat im sure if sleeve breaks or tears too bad ya can get a replacement or sub a blanket
My daughter bruised her tailbone pretty bad and her doctor recommended a donut seat. I wasn't thrilled about it costing $50 but it was well worth it. My daughter is able to sit for awhile without being in pain thanks to this cushion
This is really great and worth it, my gaming chair was a little sore to sit on. But after buying this I could work for hours without my back and hind quarters hurting. Its very comfy. Worth every dollar
this is very helpful but it adds a little bit too much height to the seat. if you're tall it makes it impossible to see much because you're almost touching the roof at that point
This product actually made it worse and made my lower back very sore and hurting quite a bit. I think that is because the product isnt big enough . I am 6”2 - 220 lbs. it needs to be 6in longer and wider, if not even more than that. I mean, did they design this for kids when they were making it? Do not purchase it unless you are a 10yr old.
I am 6'6" and walkaround at about 200 pounds, I purchased this coushin because I work as a Heavy Equipment Operating Engineer and I spend long hours driving and operaring various equipment in a seated position. I was hoping it would help counteract recurring lower back pain and discomfort. What I found was this coushin caused more irritation than comfort, it doesn't cover the whole seat leaving gaps on either side making for a very uncomfortable sciatica pressure and therefore lower lumbar pain in addition to adding extra pressure on my tail bone. Most Dr Scholl's products that I've used in rhe past have worked great, this one had me wanting to change Doctors.
