Nice and potent 40% zinc but too greasy for my liking. Greasy as in too much petroleum jelly it in. The label doesn't tell you how much is in it beforehand so there's no way to know the percentage before guying.
This is good for preventing heat rash. It doesn't smell like fish or rose petals. It is not runny. It may have a very faint mint type smell
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this on my toddler as needed and it works great! Perfect for redness or to heal a spot that seems to be irritated. Unscented! Goes on smoothly and package is easy to throw in the diaper bag for on the go.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a growing little man who is still in diapers, so I was excited to try this new diaper cream. My child deals with major diaper rash on a regular basis and this product works really well for him. The only thing I didn't like about this product was it is very thick. It was a little bit hard for me to get out of the tube and smear onto my child's rear end. Perhaps next time I'll try to use this, I will need to knead the tube a little bit to warm it up and make it a bit more pliable. Otherwise though it is a great product and I noticed a significant difference with his diaper rash.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a mom of a 10-m/o. I don't use this ointment every day because my baby rarely gets severe diapers rash. However, whenever I notice redness, it helps soothe and protect the skin quickly. The thick formula creates a great protective barrier and a little goes a long way so the tube last a long time. I also occasionally use it on mosquito bites to protect irritated skin. Recommend
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] "' I ve been using Dr. Talbot's Maximum Strength Diaper Rash Ointment and it works really well for severe diaper rash. It's very thick and creates a strong barrier that helps soothe redness quickly thanks to the 40% zinc oxide. it does feel a bit hard to spread because of how thick it is, but overall it's effective and helps my baby's skin heal faster."
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dr. Talbots Diaper Rash Ointment has been a lifesaver for my little one. Nice thick paste creating a protective barrier that actually works. I love that it is 40% zinc oxide and free of harsh chemicals. It helps soothe and heal quickly— definitely a staple in our diaper bag!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Diaper change essentials! Thick to smooth creamy consistency when it touches the skin. Best to use with a silicone applicator for no mess! Helps protect baby's skin barrier to prevent diaper rash but also help the heal it if needed. My baby has very sensitive skin and this has seemed to help, I just apply any time I start to see any areas of redness.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm extremely impressed with Dr Talbot's Diaper Rash Ointment! This cream worked faster and better than many other diaper rash products I've tried. The 40% zinc oxide formula creates a strong protective barrier that helps soothe irritated skin and keeps moisture away, allowing the rash to heal quickly. I noticed visible improvement after just a few applications. The texture is thick enough to provide excellent coverage, yet it spreads easily and stays in place. I also appreciate that it is free from dyes, parabens, preservatives, and talc, making it a great choice for sensitive skin. Every parent should keep a tube of this on hand. Highly recommended for fast relief, protection, and peace of mind!
This was a poor product and I would not recommend it. I've used store brand diaper rash creams/ointments and Desitin, so that's the baseline of my comparison. The reason I rate this so poorly is because it's extremely difficult to get the ointment out of the package. It's like you need to bang on it with a sledgehammer to get it out. I called Dr. Talbot's to voice my frustration, and the return %26 refund process is inconvenient and burdensome. Don't try and save a few dollars, go with another brand.
