It was smaller than I had anticipated for the price, but very well made and a nice box for presentation.
definitely a great deal for any Doctor Who fan you get the first and second Doctor's seasons all in one collection.
I LOVE this set ! such a good value for 4 seasons and all of the specials !!! I was looking for the specials and then I realized it had them all in this set
Much like the Matt Smith era set, this comes with all episodes including the specials while, from what I can tell so far, ignores any extras such as commentaries. While some may see it as a loss, I don't really as I never cared for stuff like that. This has the actual entire series of both Chris and David including the specials, and that it so much better than some other sets out there that force you to buy the specials separately. Sadly, one disc was damaged and I had to send it back but they are going to take care of it and they were quick to respond and do so. I've watched some of the other discs before sending it back and they were awesome in quality.
great DVD two of the best Dr of the show
This is very good tv show I would highly recommend it to anyone
Found the Matt Smith Collection for under 25 dollars at a Walmart store looked for the other Doctor's collections couldn't find them there went here found them for a little over 30 well worth the price for just the episodes no commentaries no extras you get the Christmas specials and the specials that lead into season 5
I did not like the package that contain the DVDs. Several of the discs had dislodged from their holder. I placed the discs in another holder for easier access.
Bad enough that I had to sacrifice on the mini-sodes to get this, but I'm really not impressed with the packaging. I don't like overlapping discs as it is, where, for example, I have to remove disc 1 from the case if I want to retrieve or put away disc 2 (though I'll grant this isn't the WORST example I've seen *cough* Final Destination *cough* ). But the, shall we say, "pages" that the discs insert into don't even attach to the case; the whole thing just slides around in there. The whole point of buying this was to condense my physical property and take up less space on the shelves, but I think I may have to replace this and the other actor sets with the individual seasons.
The series I loved, but these DVDs and box they come in are a mess. DVDs are scratched up. When I buy a DVD it better be scratch free. Some of them had large scuffs and were unplayable. The Plastic box was a joke. It is nearly impossible to get the Disc off the tabs without fear of breaking them. I am taking this set back and buying another one, then I am removing them all carefully from the box and using my own DVD cases instead. That is if they are not as scratched up as these ones are. Once you open them Walmart will not let you return them and only a exact exchange. So I have a bad feeling this is going to go south fast with someone at the counter :P
