I read about this product for use to combat aphids (white flies) and so far it's been doing a great job using a small amount diluted with water. Reading the other uses I have bathed and washed my hair with it and like how it feels.
Haven't used yet but I purchased for an all natural homemade plant wellness spray against parasitic attack and mold/mildew. (In case anyone would like the mixture recipe I'll incorporate it in my review here) it's a safe mixture to leave on your indoor/outdoor plants or gardens. Kills any parasites along with their eggs/larva. Also kills any mold or mildew from the soil/plants. I mix it up in a 2 liter hand pump sprayer for a more even application. **this mixture does lose potency, so I recommend only mixing as needed, and discard any unused product.** -1/4 cup Dr. Woods pure castile peppermint soap -1/4 cup Dr. Woods pure castile tea tree soap -1 cup 70% isopropyl alcohol -1 tablespoon 1% hydrogen peroxide -2 cups filtered water. (Tap is safe to use but might leave water droplet residue) Hope this helps someone out there, and have a great day folks.
Love the product. everything I expected.
I use this in a mix to kill spider mite on house plants. Works great.
great
Great stuff
I used to purchase Dr. Bronner's peppermint soap, and for the same quantity of Dr. Woods soap, I was paying twice as much. I finally realized my folly. I gave four leaves for the quality because it is very drying to the skin....just like Dr. Bronner's soap. We also use Dr. Woods soap for washing dishes, washing laundry, etc. It is so good that it does not contain EDTA, and all those other poisonous ingredients.
It's quite rich, 32oz. can be easily diluted into 64oz. or 96oz. if you want to push it, however, I would say you still will be satisfied with its results; Not to leave the fact that you are cutting your cost in half or more as well.
I have bought this soap many times, as well as the lavender scented. This last order I noticed the soap smells strongly of shea butter. Dr. Woods does make a shea butter version of this soap, but I do not recommend it. Shea butter is not listed on the ingredients for this soap, so I imagine this came from or was contaminated with a shea butter batch. The problem with shea butter is that the smell is so strong and distinct that it overrides and over powers the peppermint or lavender scent. Hopefully the next batch will smell as labeled. Overall this is a good, gentle soap that can be used for a variety of uses. It's significantly cheaper and a little thicker than Dr. Bronner's castile soaps.
dose not suds up well as dr bonners and leaves an oily residue after rinsing going back to dr bonners.
